Simolea is a an fictitious island country in the northern part of North America. Positioned about 800 kilometres (497 miles) west of the United States west coast, It is the world's third most populous island nation, behind Indonesia and Japan, with a population of approximately 109,000,000. It shares a northern border with the country of Severnia, another fictitious nation, holding the distinction of having the world's second-longest straight island border, stretching 780 kilometres (485 miles). Simolea's capital and most populous city is Simcity, with a population of approximately 12,500,000, with the three most populous metropolitan areas being Simcity, Bridgeport, and San Myshuno.
