{{Documentation subpage}} <!-- PLEASE ADD CATEGORIES AND INTERWIKIS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE --> This template returns the correct third person singular pronoun to refer to a given user, based on what the user has set as their gender in their preferences. It uses the {{magic word|GENDER}} magic word. ===Usage=== Typical:<br /> {{in5}}{{tlx|gender |<var>Username</var> |<var>case</var> }} Vertical: <nowiki>{{</nowiki>gender {{!}}<var>Username</var> {{!}}<var>case</var> <nowiki>}}</nowiki> ===Parameters=== * <code>{{!}}{{var|Username}}</code> or <code>{{!}}1={{var|Username}}</code> β The username without the <code>User:</code> prefix * <code>{{!}}2=</code> or the second unnamed parameter β Optional parameter for giving the [[Noun case|case]] of the pronoun.
